Graduate School 101 Workshop Series
Coming up with a plan for getting into graduate school isn’t easy, but our Graduate School 101 Workshop Series can make the process a whole lot less painful. No…the competition is fierce, the hurdles are many, and the difference is often who is best prepared.
Join us for all or any of our seven sessions covering personal statements, studying for the GRE, financing, and life as a grad student. The sessions are free.

- Considering Graduate School and Financing Your Graduate Education- Thinking about graduate school? Master's degree recipients will earn $2.5 million in their lifetime. This session will provide you with the information you need as you begin to plan your future, including financial aid options for student interested in graduate school.
- How to Write a Personal Statement for Graduate School- Need help writing a personal statement? This session will give specific strategies on how to write a personal statement. Juniors and Seniors especially welcome. If you have a draft of your personal statement a Writing Tutor will be available to provide feedback.
- Introduction to the GRE- Need to take the GRE? This session will give an overview of the GRE and how to study for it.
- Problem Solved: Cracking the GRE Quantitative Section- This session will provide a practice test and specific strategies for tackling the quantitative section of the GRE.
- I'm Lost for Words: Cracking the GRE Verbal Section- This session will provide a practice test and specific strategies for tackling the verbal section of the GRE.
- Sentence to Paper: Cracking the GRE Analytical Writing Section- This session will provide strategies for performing well on the analytical writing section of the GRE.
