Call your major department and schedule an advisement appointment as soon as possible**. When speaking with the department, indicate you are making an appointment for one of the Transfer Day Program dates. An advisor will be assigned to you when you call to schedule your appointment.
**If you will have less than 24 semester hours completed by the time you begin classes at Illinois State, or you are an undeclared student, pre-nursing major, or unclassified student, you will be advised by the University College Academic Advisement Center (309) 438-3789.
** If you are a student with 24 or more hours and have declared a major, please call your major department to schedule your appointment.
If you need to change your address or major, please contact the Office of Admissions at (800) 366-2478. If you are planning on changing your major, please do so before scheduling an academic advisement appointment. Once a major change is verified by the Office of Admissions, please contact the appropriate advisor to schedule your appointment.
It is recommended that you allow sufficient time to park your car, check in, and attend an Academic Information Session prior to your advisement appointment. Please be sure to bring photo identification, such as a driver’s license, as most services at Illinois State University require some form of photo identification. You will also want to bring a course catalog from your current institution (and previous institution if applicable).
You can find your UID by logging into Welcome2ISU. Students who applied to the university on paper and did not provide an email address will be mailed a letter containing their UID.
Your ULID account gives you access to many electronic resources at Illinois State University, such as: iCampus, computer labs, and software downloads. You should personally activate your ULID account before attending a Transfer Day Program. To activate your ULID account, do the following:

Registering within the iCampus Portal can be done from any computer with Internet access and a browser.
