Testing from a Remote Location
COMPASS Math Placement exams may be taken at remote test sites. You must call Illinois State University Testing Services at (309)438-2100 to pre-register to test at a remote test site.
Once you have pre-registered for the exam, you will receive a confirmation email with a Registration number. The confirmation email will give you specific instructions for scheduling your test appointment and submitting the test fee payment.
You MUST identify yourself as an Illinois State University student when you schedule your appointment and again when you arrive at the remote test site. Exams taken at remote sites must be taken no later than two weeks prior to your scheduled Preview date in order for you to register for classes during Preview orientation.
Photo identification and your Registration number will be required. You will not be allowed to test without these items.
