Continued Probation

As a student who has been reinstated by the Reinstatement Committee, Illinois State University is concerned and here to support continued probation students in achieving good academic standing.

Because their academic future is in jeopardy, continued probation students are required to participate in Project Success. By fully participating in Project Success, students will increase their chances of remaining an Illinois State student.

Participation in Project Success is important to a probation student’s future enrollment at Illinois State. Should a student be dismissed and thus reviewed by the Reinstatement Committee at any time in the future, participation will be considered when making reinstatement decisions.

Requirements for continued probation students for Project Success are:

  1. Register for Success Seminar I.
  2. Complete the Becoming a Successful Student Survey.
  3. Attend Success Seminar I.
  4. Schedule and attend your advisor conference.
  5. Register and attend one of the services offered through the Julia N. Visor Academic Center.
  6. Sign up for Success Seminar II.

More detailed information and deadlines about Project Success are mailed to students.
