What do to before Preview
- Schedule your COMPASS math placement examination. You must take this exam at least two weeks prior to your Preview date. Please see Math Placement Requirements for more information.
- Change your major (if necessary). Contact Office of Admissions toll free at (800) 366-2478 as soon as possible, but at least one week prior to your Preview date. Although many students are able to change majors prior to Preview, we cannot guarantee that your request will be approved, as some departments may have restricted majors as a result of competitive admissions, space availability, or additional criteria.
- Review Program Fees and Payment Information.
- Watch the following videos from the Redbird Card office. These videos contain important information you need to know prior to attending Preview.
- Review the suggested packing list.
- Before attending Preview, you will need to activate your ULID (University Log-on ID). One week prior to your reserved date, you will receive an e-mail providing instructions for ULID activation. You must complete this process before you will be able to register for classes.
- Obtain a University Housing contract or exemption. You must complete this process before you will be able to register for classes. For more information, visit the Housing website.
