Undeclared Advising
Students who have not officially been admitted to a major at ISU are considered undeclared. All undeclared students are assigned to academic advisors in University College. You will transition to your department or school for academic advisement after you are admitted to your intended major.
We understand that there is a difference between being undeclared with an intended major in mind and undecided. Some students know what major they want to pursue, but have not been admitted yet. Some students are undecided and do not know what major they want to pursue. Regardless, University College Academic Advisors are available to guide you through the process of declaring a major.
